What is Gingivitis?

Gingivitis is a mild form of Periodontal Disease that generally does not cause discomfort in the early stages. It appears as red and swollen gums that tend to bleed easily when brushing or flossing. The good news is that gingivitis is reversible and our Registered Dental Hygienists are here to help provide professional treatment and patient education to stop the advancement of symptoms.

 

Approximately 80% of adults have some form of gingivitis.
